Road description: Located 40 km NW of Älvsbyn along road 374.

2. Långträsket
Road description: Located 16 km N of Vidsel along the road to Harads.
Species: Trout, char, grayling, perch and pike.
Additional information: Road all the way to the lake. Windbreaks and toilets. No boats. You need permission from Storforsens sportfiskeklubb to use your own boat in the lake.

3. The Pite River (Älvsbyn common land)
Road description: Located nearby the centre of Älvsbyn.
Species: Trout, grayling, salmon, pike, perch and whitefish.
Additional information: Fishing allowed from the bridge where road 94 crosses the river Pite, 1 km downstream to 5 km upstream from the bridge. You are allowed to use your own boat.

4. Tväråns FVO
Road description: A 10 km stretch of the river Borgforsälven, from Fällträsket down to the border of the council district.
Species: Trout, grayling and brook trout. Pike and perch along the smoother stretches.
Additional information: Easily accessible, thanks to the many roads of the area. Windbreaks.

Additional information: The area includes Granträsket, parts of the river Borgforsälven connecting to Granträsket, Lidträsket and a number of small lakes for example Abborrtjärn.

6. Arvidsträsk FVO
Road description: 15 km S of Älvsbyn
Species: Perch, pike, vendace and trout.
Additional information: The area consists of Inner and Outher Arvidsträsk as well as a stretch of the river Borgforsälven, from its outflow into Outer Arvidsträsk down to the limits of Granträsk FVO. Fishing can be difficult without a boat.

9. Snödbergstjärn, Björnbergstjärn, Falkbergstjärn
Road description: About ten small lakes close to ”Kullnäs”road, which connects Kisträsk and Kullnäs.
Species: Snöbergstjärn, Björnbergstjärn, Falkbergstjärn and Selaktjärn are regulary seeded with different fish of the salmon family. The other lakes contain perch, pike and roach.
Additional information: A hut at Snödbergstjärn.

10. The lakes in Muskus
Road description: 18 km W. Älvsbyn (road 94).
Species: The lakes contain Pike, Perch, Roach and Burbot. The streams have additionally Trout and Brook trout.
Additional information: The area consists of East and West Muskusträsket, Avan, Häbbersträsket, Muskusbäcken and Kvarnbäcken.

Road decscription:15 km NW of Älvsbyn on the south side of the Pite river towards Vidsel.

Additional information: Only 4 permits round the clock during june 19th – august 30th . Bag limit 1 salmon per fishing permit. Trout  catch and release.
